The entire sequence was found on Joey DeVilla’s “The Recently Deflowered Girl” (1965) – Illustrated by Edward Gorey. I am oddly reminded of ‘A League Of Their Own’, where it was ruled that crossing one’s legs at the ankle was de rigueur when sitting down: ‘Remember, a lady reveals nothing!’
