Little Kitten – Catalunia Catholic Boy’s Choir Sing The ‘Meow’ Song

by podblack on August 27, 2010

The song is actually ‘Le Duo Des Chats’ or ‘Duetto buffo di due gatti’ by G. Berthold.
You can read about the choir at the NY Times site.

How fabulous! There is great music written for boys’ voices. When I came NYC most Episcopal churches among others had boy choirs. Then the women’s liberation wanted girls included, and they were, and so now there no more boys and/or girls choirs, except for, so far as I know, one boy choir, at St. Thomas church. Ignorant people with p.c. agendas do not realize voices are as different as musical instruments. A string quartet does not exclude brasses because of sexual bigotry. Composers use sound. If they want flutes, they do not want tubas. Leave p.c. out of this, please do not destroy this wonderful choir.
