UPDATE – Teachers & homeschoolers: Evolution has a free PDF Learning Resource Material booklet
I consider myself to be very, very fortunate to know and be inspired by Junior Skeptic’s Daniel Loxton.
Which is why I’ve been dithering and wiggling with impatience to tell you the news about his new book… and then today, an email announces that yes – it can be announced! Hooray!
I’m awfully excited: my publisher has moved up the release for my book Evolution: How We and All Living Things Came to Be.
We’re announcing the release and taking orders at Skeptic.com starting January 19th!
I’m hopeful the book will do some good, and think it fills a niche in the skeptical literature. I hope you’ll enjoy it, and that you may have the opportunity to mention it from your platforms in the coming days.
You can get it directly from Skeptic.com at Evolution: How We and All Living Things Came to Be.
The book is aimed at a young adult audience, but like all of the work in Junior Skeptic, it has a broad application and will very well suit as a younger person’s reference text or add to the Natural Sciences section in a school library.
I particularly recommend adding books to your local school library via donations and will be checking this out as an additional text for my Philosophy and Ethics course for final year high school students. Expect to see a review in a forthcoming skeptic magazine!
