As mentioned briefly when I wrote earlier about the show in Melbourne – they’re preparing to head overseas! The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art are hosting them as ‘artists in residence’!
Tripod versus The Dragon

Hunter Center
Part Flight of the Conchords and part Tenacious D [actually, they've been around a lot longer...], this three man musical comedy group is legendary in its native Australia — they regularly play the Sydney Opera House and other massive palaces of high art. In residency here for two weeks, this Work-in-Progress performance will be the world’s first glimpse of their latest opus: a musical theater work of exquisite sophistication and hilarity that delves deep into the terrifying, tantalizing, geektastic world of D&D. North Adams may never be the same.

Apologies for posting this here, but you closed comments on the other blog entry which didn’t allow me to clarify. My comment was not directed at this blog at all, it was in reference to the JREF blog entry. The author of that post commented here explaining why he titled it “Bull**** Expert?”; I was simply pointing out that the actual title of his post was “Bull**** Artist?”.
I wouldn’t have bothered replying, except in your reply to my comment you finished with “…was it a mistake to open up comments again?”, and then tweeted along the same lines, implying that my post was somehow inflammatory and thus caused comments to be closed. I strongly disagree with that implication (though in a completely non-inflammatory manner)… ;P
I can copy this post over, if that helps? I had some others which were… even less complimentary. Thanks for clarifying.
Ta, appreciate it.
Hey, I appreciate you caring enough to comment!
