Today Is A Day I Don’t Have – Again!

by podblack on September 9, 2009

Last year, this same thing happened. I missed out an entire day that everyone else has. The 9th of September will completely pass me by.

I’m traveling from the 8th of September straight across the International Date Line and right into the 10th of September. The international date line will gobble it up and leave me with nothing but a left-over page on the 2009 diary.

I should make some more jokes about being Rose Tyler and having hung out at Dragon*Con with three Doctors…

I’ll be on a flight to New Zealand, if you missed the details for that: Auckland Skeptics in the Pub!

September 10th, 7pm

Location - Horse and Trap, 3 Enfield St, Mt Eden, Auckland 09 630 3055.

I’ll be there with my mini-recorder to get some audio for the next Think Tank for the Skeptic Zone podcast!

Sorry you lost a day of your life, but we’re so glad you guys came here. I learned so much from your presentations and the information you shared that I’ll be taking back to my classroom. Thanks again!

Just think of how long and wonderful another day of yours is going to be! I flew to Fiji a few years ago, and completely lost Jan 3rd. But when I went back home, I left on the evening of the 24th, and lo and behold, I arrived in LA on the morning of the 24th. It was like groundhog day!

Teacherninja, did we meet? Argh! :( I’m hoping to get the audio of the presentation, for future reference, thanks for reminding me! :) Please zip Derek Colanduno and maybe even the JREF a point about the teaching and parenting panels, if you think that there should be more of them?
