Sorry for the ‘radio silence’ – I’ll be doing a follow-up to the teaching post when I have more time. Just too busy at the moment!
I’ll probably write it on the plane or something. In a hotel room in New Zealand, or in a lounge in LA. Or when I was stuck for nearly a day in Heathrow (pic is of the Yotel there) and found that they serve coffee in cups larger than your head (you can tell I drank it, just check how much I wrote in the blogpost – actually, there you go, that’s another ‘teaching skepticism’ post for you to read too).
Sod, I’m such a poser…
Yes, that’s evidence of said posing on the right.
Here’s some more on Flickr – Madge, feel free to use any of them, just hop onto Flickr and right-click to save them?
We just got into general chat and I handed around copies of Daniel Loxton’s ‘105 Practical Ways to Promote Science and Advance Skepticism‘ document, because there always seems to be questions about ‘what sort of things can I / we do’. We ended up brainstorming some and they’ll go onto the Meetup.com forum for the group – Perth Skeptics Meetup.
The Perth Skeptics are tagged on Flickr – the next meeting should be the last Sunday of September (as it is every month) upstairs at the Flying Scotsman. Head to www.perthskeptics.org.
