From Gather.com: It was five and a half years ago that Roy Horn was attacked by his feline co-star Montecore, a white tiger in the Siegfried & Roy Las Vegas show. Tonight on ABC’s 20/20 the entertainers are interviewed by Elizabeth Vargas about their show and the incident.
Just this week, Siegfried and Roy reunited with the Montecore the tiger in a benefit show for the Ruvo Institute in Las Vegas, raising more than $10 million. Siegfried said, “I’m at a part of my life now where I think I can give something back. And this country and Las Vegas was so good to me for 45 years, and I think that was a perfect reason to do it.”
Penn Jillette talked about the accident here and his support for his long-time friends.
