Over the course of a year, a cat named Cooper from Seattle spent one day a week with a camera around his neck as he trotted around his neighborhood.
Owners Deirdre and Michael Cross, who are photographers and filmmakers themselves, set the camera to take one picture every two minutes – and got some interesting ‘art’ in the process. Cooper’s pictures feature in the following gallery and will feature as a documentary on Animal Planet.
If you’re interested in seeing the full set of photos, there is a Flickr group online, with all of Cooper’s shots. They feature at “The Cat Cam“. His official blog is up at CooperCatPhotographer (’It’s official: Cooper will soon have his first gallery exhibit. Cooper is jumping with joy!’) – and you can get your own kitty-cam at the original Mr Lee Cat-Cam (a site I found a little while back and enjoyed the sample shots there!).

Fantastic. When I was a kid I would see our cat kilometers from home. When I called out to her, she didn’t respond in any way. I HUNT NAO GO WAY
This does to me look like a skeptical cat. The alert, pointy ears, the slight hint of a frown, or at least the potential for frowining…
Hmm… clicked refresh twice, still don’t see comment…
I was saying that this does indeed appear to be a skeptical cat and was citing evidence…
“Cramping my style, man! I will have this mouse! Don’t show me up, the other cats are watching!”
Yes, sorry about that Paul! Some comments just oddly register as spam and go into moderation – poor Karen from Skepbitch’s comments never seem to get accepted straight-away and she’s even in my blogroll! :/
