Lessons in science – Is there a higher than zero chance that Marcus du Sautoy can explain the world?

The Guardian, UK: The role for a professor of the public understanding of science is even more of a puzzle, partly because as an academic post, it is hardly older than the average undergraduate, and partly because although there is clearly a public need to be met, there may not be an obvious public demand.
